  • Right on.. this is a great message. "Whether you're good or not, as long as you're having fun, that's what it's all about." Sucks that his town's skate park is in such bad condition though. More cities need to realize the importance of investing money into recreational parks. Especially in a small town where the lack of things to do can make kids turn to violence or drugs.

PS, dbocaz, your summary of the video says that Anthony does let his disability get in the way

  • Thanks for catching my typo! That was bad :)

I didn't realize things were in this condition until Anthony and his team did this video. It is shameful.

I need to give credit to Anthony's team: Bruce Williams, Dia Hammon, Brian Brown and Tim Brown

  • Cool character. I wasn't sure what story I was supposed to be following: Boy overcomes disability or Boy wants better skate park. The first one actually carries some punch. I want to hear more about how he learned to skate with as much visual info as you can pack in. You also show off his prosthetic and it really makes me want to see how it works, see it in action, hear him talk about it, etc. Thanks for uploading!

  • Thanks aschneider - I think these students have two really good stories here. Anthony and his disability and the desire for a skate park. I've suggested that they break this into two stories (two pods) and I'll pass along your feedback too... much appreciated.
