That is so real. Who are we? Is right...
I feel so trapped sometimes, probably because I'm born and raised in a major city. I'm guilty of wanting nice new things, but I guess there is a reason why I'm not rich, I can't afford all the things I thought I wanted when I was growing up, and even sometimes now. I don't let THINGS define me. I compost all food scrapes and recycle to reduce my waste. I have never owned a car, because they are expensive, I don't need one and most on the market are doing damage right now... I eat organic and local as much as possible, try not to waste too much water. Turn off lights, use efficiency bulbs all that......
I still feel sick and trapped sometimes.
What is next? I don't know what more to do, but to listen to others and try to hope we can somehow pull it together in time.
What is it going to take to change the collective conscience?
Why do we even have a choice to buy into products that damage the earth?(Like plastics and diapers that are NOT biodegradable.Sick!)
This whole system has not made sense to me since I was a very young kid. Now I all grown up and I don't understand what is taking so long. I'm optimistic only because.... It's not over, until its over. - 1 year ago
