I agree. Advances in technology and changes in culture are happening too slowly.
As it stands, the price of petroleum needs to drastically increase before alternative energy sources will be aggressively sought. The problem is, the cost of building a solar panel or a windmill or whatever else costs energy and materials, so as oil prices go up, the cost to pursue these other options also goes up. -
If the government offers more incentives to build or buy solar panels it will make a difference. We spend a lot of money and years investing in fuel discovery and refinement, transport, spills, pollution, etc.

If the government offers more incentives to build or buy solar panels it will make a difference! If they keep the manufacturing of the solar panels in America, it will be a Miracle!
Instead of just giving rich glutinous Americans tax breaks, why not give them incentive based tax breaks. That would help jobs stay in America. Right now many are given our tax dollars to outsource our jobs. Doesn't that seem a bit (a lot) ridiculous?
