For the second time in months, Somali pirates took over a European boat. The Spanish fishing boat has 26 crew members. As of now there are no reports of injuries.

    I hope all concerned are rescued unhurt. However it does raise an interesting question about the Spanish fishing fleet and the fact that they seem to fish heavily in other countries waters and are not under the same strict fishing quotes that many other European countries enforce.

  • What was the spanish boat doing in Somalian waters.I think that the spanish are the pirates in this situation.
