Actually, he didn't refer to the books as gibberish, he referenced the fact that the terms Rowling developed in the series would be gibberish in another context, relating to his suggestion that a Harry Potter encyclopedia (which is the issue at the center of this lawsuit) would in fact have genuine worth.
