Here is a link to the famous 1st Tower of Power solar electricity plant in Sevilla, Spain.
This link shows some good close up non cgi screen shots of how a Solar Power Plant is designed - Ariel/Ground View Point. You can look find definitions of how much power this plant will produce compared to other forms of energy plants in use today - nuclear vs solar vs water vs whatever can also be found on the net.
Keep in mind that this plant runs 24/7, and has no emissions, or risk of disaster effecting neighboring cities.
A Greener future should be on everyone's mind.

Interesting.
Funny all the effort we go through simply to excite atoms.-

Totally cool oly90808! Thank you for the info. Those are galvanized steel mirrors reflecting sunlight, not photovoltaics. An example of how hot the sun can get if concentrated - hot enough to produce steam and drive a turbine WITH >92% EFFICIENCY! No need for those nuke plants anymore. I believe it is also Spain that developed the first completely environmentally friendly photovoltaic panel.

United States soon will be putting people to work on alternative energy, someone should do more research on Free energy, discovered by Tesla and hidden by westinghouse?

It seems like there should be a law that gives tax cuts to people who line their roofs with solar panels. Think of all potential surface area wasted by roofs and blank building walls. Damn lobbyists keeping energy innovation down.
