why arent we using social networking to change the world insted of lashing out?

I don't understand how people can match "social networking" with "site". For me it's a faux paus... doen't make sense. People cannot "meet" people online. I just don't get what happened to going outside and talking to people in person rather than having "relationships" with people online. There's nothing social about holding a conversation through a keyboard.

Super news is an absolute hit! Although I am new to the current website I am been a long time viewer which completely stands for what networkers contemplate and discuss often because of the many ways to connect. ..such as current.

P.S. Bad stuff on social networks can mess up your job seeking chances, especially if you are one of those who likes to post up drunk, nude, etc etc pics of yourself (lame & stupid). I read at reader's digest that your future boss can be looking up on these pages to know what kind of people work for them.

MySpace is as good or as bad as the person who personalizes his or her profile. It's a great tool for self-expression, be it visual or audio or both.

As for Facebook, I use it in a very tight circle - the members of my family. We are scattered all over the globe, so having this largely private Facebook circle allows us to stay in touch and share our individual events and adventures.

It's beautifull and so true...but, sometimes, someone has the chance to show his talent on Myspace...I don't mean the sexual one! :)

Wow you guys nailed Myspace right on the head. That horrible website is nothing but page after page of amateur soft-core porn pictures and cheesy no talent clubs songs. Facebook is the college version of Myspace but not so much like a sophisticated informative outlet but more like a drunken witless collage of random events that takes to long and quickly loses its luster. Thanks for the video. I now have a link to express my feelings so I don’t have to explain it myself. Now that’s good internet.

Most social networking sites now are 1) ugly and old (myspace) or 2) confusing (facebook) or 3) boring (friendster)

You should do sth funny about "professional networking sites" next time, like LinkedIn. It's boring as hell!
