Fast food chains in New York are now being required to post the calories of their items.
Restaurants like McDonald's and TGI Fridays will have the calorie counts of each meal on their menu.
One customer commented:
"Everyone knows that fast food isn't good for you, but it doesn't stop people queuing up," he said. "People who count calories probably don't come here for lunch anyway."
A study earlier this year said that 44% of Americans, and 45% of Britons liked fast food "too much to give it up."
