"As soccer superstar David Beckham kicks off the Los Angeles Galaxy's 2008 season, Drew Carey asks what this says about immigration in the U.S. in a new reason.tv video.
While workers from Mexico draw the ire and fiery rhetoric of anti-immigration forces, there was no outrage or concern when the English-speaking soccer hero brought his family and curling free kicks to America.
'I think we should welcome all peaceful people to our country,' says Drew Carey. 'They get to the pursue the 'American Dream' and we get to benefit from all the wonderful things that immigrants bring to our country—like good old fashioned soccer. Sounds like a pretty good deal to me.'"

i think legally is the key term. i don't care where you are from, just do it legally. illegal immigrants are undermining our country and their brethren who have done it legally.
they've overpopulated and degraded their country into ruin, and now they're spreading the same problems into our country. yes we have hardworking illegals, but yes we have hardworking illegal criminals who are bastardizing the american dream -
Unfortunately for Migrants coming from the south, they don't have the privilage of obtaining a lawyer to help them with their case. Chances are, they couldn't afford the food to eat in their native land. They account for a large number of the EE UU GDP. See the State of Arizona's lack of state income and loss of workers for example. For people to demonize Migrants shows a lack of compassion, and most likely comes from the privilaged. Migrants account for 4.6 billion of TX GDP. I don't think they want to end up like AZ, and do not for see TX taking the same actions as AZ in terms of employer laws. Migrants contribute 38 billion in social security. Some thing they cannot take advantage of. Might be time for reform.

working medical i see the huge negative impact of illegals on our hospitals. hospitals in the southwest are closing and have closed down because, illegals come in with fake ss#'s, get services and leave. then show up again with another fake SS# and name. it's really hurting down there.
