This film released by Amnesty International gives you a good idea what this technique does to human being. Anyone that says this is not torture must either be insane or a lier. Maybe both!
"The water is poured very carefully over the nose – you keep a constant pour. You are drowning in water but you don't have the ability to hold your breath. You feel the water going in, you understand that water is filling your lungs." "...the technique was also futile, as well as barbaric, as the prisoner would say anything to survive – regardless of its truth."

  • ROFLMAO, cracks me up to see they are now producing music videos out of it. So what if achmed THINKS he's drowning for a little bit before his case of verbal intel diarhea sets in. I'm pretty sure that they tried asking him nicely if he would like to talk before going straight to waterboarding. The terrorists can be and are the 1st line of defense if they don't want to be waterboarded, give up the intel BEFORE it gets to that point and no one has to take a bath. Problem solved.
