Delicious "tomallis" not confusing with "tomalleys" that is a type of sea food. Tomallis or Tomalis comes from Tomatos. A typical dish from Mexico. In Italian we call that "polenta."
You can find these at Trader Joe's.

My Grandma used to make these from scratch. The ingredients are basically: Corn, salt, herbs and water. She used to put in the oven and make the top a little well done in the ends which was fine to me. I like tofu and polenta that come a little hard on top. You can even do a "tostada" or "fritada" that translating is deep-fried. Enjoy!
