  • I listen to alot of BBC Radio 1 they have been spinning her tracks for months. I can't wait for her album to drop here in the heartland. I wrote to the program director at our local top40 z-crap station, he blew me off. But I think she is going to blow up huge this summer at the clubs.

  • I think Estelle is awesome. I actually heard about her "beef" with some of the blue-eyed soul artists in the UK...and here are my thoughts: a lot of people feel that if a black person does something that is considered "black," it's just an everyday thing that doesn't deserve recognition. But if a white person does it, it's something new and fresh. None of these people are doing anything new, and that includes Estelle. It's unfortunate that we separate and categorize music, but I guess that's just the way it is.

    But no one can touch Joss Stone. That's my girl.
