As wonderful as they are Democracy and Capitalism have inherent flaws. One of the biggest flaws is they both tend to encourage individual gain over the common good or even common sense at times. In this case it behooves the media to keep the current campaign as close as possible to promote drama and therefore interest. Forget the math, rules or even reality of the situation by concentrating on speculation – the spin, what ifs and arcane anecdotes the media can create false parity regardless of the veracity. Just like in sports where leagues try to keep teams evenly matched to foster exciting competition the media wants to keep the race tight to pour a little gas on the fire.

Moreover, the political opposition wants to win – at all cost. More Machiavellian than the media, at some point a say anything, do anything (kitchen sink) mentality eventually surfaces usually on the trailing side. Veracity, logic, decency and or the common good become completely expendable at this point in the all encompassing quest for victory. It’s not whether you win or lose – it’s whether *I* win or lose, F-you and anything or anyone that stands in the way.

This campaign is singularly unique on every level. There is no pole, paradigm or insipid dogmatic propaganda that can predict the outcome despite what the talking heads tell you. As you deal with the madness keep one thing in mind at all times. It’s a simple proposition – the one with the most votes wins.

  • Neither candidate has the will of the people to have gotten the nomination full out without the superdelegates... I think that for the sake of the process and fairness to all voters, the superdelegates should refrain from decision making until all of the states have voted...Let's just see how it all plays out!

  • I'm all for Democracy and if the campaigns (one in particular) could play nice then yes, they should go through the motions and let it go to the end. But that's not the case. This will get uglier, more entrenched and divisive the longer it goes. All continuing the process at this point will do is make it harder for the other sides supporters to vote for the eventual winner - playing right into the Republicans hands. This needs to end YESTERDAY. Clinton could literally win every contest from now until the end by the same margin she took Penn. and still not have enough votes to win - even if you gave her Florida. It only serves the media and the Republicans at this point to continue.

  • Al Gore got more votes and did not win. Maybe it's not such a simple proposition after all.

  • The system worked as it should, Bush just circumvented it. This is as simple as we'll let it be.

  • "....Mr. Obama has a weakness among blue-collar working class voters for a reason."

The"blue collar working class" has not been a particularly loyal constituancy of the democratic party. These are the "Reagan Democrats" that defect at the drop of a hat.

  • The blue collars have been sold down the river ever since the 'puppet' Reagan took office...that was the beginning of their being raped in order to increase the bottom line... via the rise of the Corporatocracy. The progression of that is part of where we are now...in a pitiful state of affairs...due in large part to another puppet who jumps at the whim of the multi-nationals etc...

In any case, the position held by the said 'puppet' is still a usurped title...one, I hope, we are all smart enough and brave enough not to let happen yet again in this election...

Why would anyone raise questions about a public figure who, for only 20 years, attended a church and developed a close personal relationship with its preacher who says AIDS was created by our government as a genocidal tool to be used against people of color

    ***********************

Our government did create the AIDS virus and it was to wage war on people of color. The scientists who helped develop the virus were German Scientists transplanted to the US after WWII. The plan was hatched decades ago and several Republican presidents allocated funds to the ongoing research in to population control.

There are documents all over the internet that trace the history of the governments "Biological warfare" and "Special Virus" program to create a virus that would attack the human immune system.

Didn't you take biology? Most viruses evolved with humanity over millions of years and have had a long symbiotic relationship with humans and animals. Viruses wouldn't have survived millions of years if they had killed off all their hosts. They had to adapt and the hosts also adapted.

When you take two viruses and splice their genetic sequence together, you get an entirely different virus that no human or animal is naturally immune to. Immunities are passed from mother to child through the colostrum of the breast milk. Immunities that have been learned by T-cells and Macrophages over hundreds of thousands of years of human evolution are passed on through the breast milk. Something lab created would not be so easily defended against by the human body when it has never learned to fight something like it.

HIV conveniently enough has the same protein envelope as a T-Cell does. So when it gets into the body, it is welcomed with open arms as a trusted friend. Taking cells and gutting them, leaving only the protein envelope intact then refilling them with some other genetic material has been done since the 40's.

Surely in the hundreds of thousands of years humans have inhabited this planet, they would have been exposed to practically every bug this planet has to offer.

Remember Pharmaceutical companies are not Mother Theresa's who have the best interest of the people in mind. All they care about is maximizing profits. They no doubt have lots of cures for lots of diseases, but they would never let something cheap and inexpensive out to destroy their multi billion dollar industry. If you believe that cures will be widely available someday for most diseases, you are dreaming.

As for the government waging war on it's citizens, think again. What about the drug war? The people most affected by this war are the people of color. This is a statistical fact.

There are some racist corporate CEO's at the head of some of these biotechnology corporations and research laboratories that still have the influence of the former Nazi scientists who were brought in to further the research into all kinds of things, and they had the chance to establish policy too.

This is the most subtle form of bigotry and racism and it is all being done in secret with our tax dollars.

  • Check out the facts about this dig in China where human settlements were found in a cave. These humans lived between 580,000 years ago and 230,000 years ago in China. They had fire and stone wear, yes stone wear; over 10,000 pieces have been unearthed so far.

This was as modern a human settlement as some of the early settlements of people even 400 years ago in many parts of the world; no different in that hey used fire and tools and they ate and lived and cooked in caves.

There is a scientist in China who is the founder of Falun Gong who says that humans have had civilizations on this planet for over 2 million years. They have risen to large populations and then plummeted to mere handfuls. This has happened in all 80 times over a 2 million year period and it happens in intervals of approximately of 25,000 years.

That just so happens to coincide with the Earth's precession of the equinoxes cycle.

How spiritually blind have we human beings have become and so full of ourselves in this era, that we do not see the long history of our existence before us. We prefer to believe in fairy tales and lies told to us by our grandfathers who tell us of a jealous god who demands our worship and threatens us with annihilation. In comparison to the 2,000,0000 year history of man, the religions of the world today are mere infants. They cannot begin to grasp humanity in such time frames; especially when three of the major religions; Judaism, Christianity and Islam believe that the earth is scarcely 10,000 years old. That is as far back as there religion takes them.

And yet people who believe that the earth is a mere 10,000 years old are in charge of some pretty scary shit on this planet that could f#$%k many of our hopes and dreams. These fanatics will stop at nothing to realize their dream, to claim the world for their god and annihilate all the "others" the "infidels" the "unbelievers".

  • Here is news of another dig in China where fossils of bones and animals have been dated to 2 million years ago. These early humans had stone tools that were also found at the dig, now over 230 stone tool artifacts have been unearthed so far.

  • Hearing about media manipulation this late in the race really gets my blood boiling. The only two candidates that could site the United States Constitution word for word to the American people without skipping a beat were Dennis Kucinich and Ron Paul. Both were treated with such blatant disrespect and malevolence by the media that it made me sick to my stomach. How can anyone explain them getting "barred" from their respective parties debates? I was furious when Nevada demanded Kucinich be included so it didn't do a disservice to the citizens, took it to court, and lost to NBC (which is owned by General Electric). I don't consider myself a huge conspiracy theorist but I am sorry, these remaining candidates are there because GE, Time Warner, Disney, Viacom and News Corp. want them to be. Kucinich did drop out but Ron Paul is still running and never gets mentioned. I really enjoy listening to Obama speak. His oratory is on par with some pretty prominent political figures both past and present. That being said, Ron Paul was and is saying things that the American people really NEED to hear. There are many reasons why I would like to see Dr. Paul win, but the best would be to witness the poetic justice in showing the big 5 conglomerate that democracy prevails and it is the American people that control this country's destiny.
