Free speech? Yes. Terribly offensive? Absolutely.

Why is it terribly offensive to bring in someone to discuss the advantages of having armed and properly trained students present incase something like this happens again? Think about it, if 1 or 2 armed students somewhat familiar with firearms were present during this catastrophic rampage it could have been the difference between 1-3 dead people instead of 30+. Most of the anti-gun crowd is comprised of fear of the unknown, they are uneducated in the advantages. I know I'd rather take my chances being armed and able to defend myself instead of burying my head in the sand thinking that NO ONE has a weapon everywhere I go. Creating laws prohibiting firearms will only affect the LAW abiding citizens, criminals are going to break the law regardless. I wish more criminals would run into well armed citizens able to defend themselves instead helpless unarmed citizens, we could take out the trash instead of letting it clutter up the court system for years to come at the cost of millions.

What I find terribly offensive is the fact that Larry Hincker still allows students to be defenseless and prey to the next Cho which will happen if these policies continue. VT has learned nothing!! When will you people wake up and realize there have never been gun-free campuses and there never will be. Criminals don't obey the law. We have done things your way for too long and have gotten more innocent lives killed in the process because of your flat-out ignorance and blind Utopian dreams that will NEVER happen. You need to have a look at this article which does a lot better explaining the situation than I do.
Just for that I hope to buy more ammo and support him anyway that I can knowing he is out there for the law-abiding citizen to protect himself and his own.
