An interesting look at racism and ethnic stereotypes in Hollywood cinema. The articles asks, "Have Movie Stereotypes Returned?" But where did they ever go?

I had just finished watching yet another comedy staring a doughy looking, curly headed Jewish guy who's a loser in love when I came across this post.
Fascinating read.
Think I'll link it to the NAACP (Colored People? Still??) for the next time they give give Image Awards to "Tyler Perry's House Of Payne".
Stereotyping? It's racial profiling, silly. -
Returned? When did they go away?
With a few exceptions, I have seen stereotype after stereotype in nearly all of the movies produced today. Hell, in the Transformers movie Jazz has a voice that is rich with ebonics. Further more, the one autobot that can be assumed to represent African Americans is killed.-
