Chinese artist Li Wei isn't a man who's about to let the risk of dying get in the way of a good photo.
Using wires and mirrors, the performance artist creates illusions of high risk scenarios with the end result being a series of eye-opening, awesome self-portraits.
"I am fascinated by the unstable and dangerous sides of art and I hope my works reflect these aspects," says the 37-year-old artist.
"Crikey!" says me.

Some of those are so surreal ... makes me very happy that Photoshop isn't involved.

Yeah, the line between "meh" and cool as hell is drawn by Photoshop.
This one's my personal favorite.
Reminds me of old religious paintings. -
He should do it while wearing a red dress. Now that would be hot.

That's some faking cool stuff.

wow...makes me think my work is CRAPOLA....

tatuaje - how so?
While these images are neat, they are far from the best photography I've ever seen (though that one with the bulldozer is up there).
I think photography that captures divine moments in spacetime is some of the Best Ever.
High production values and lots of extras do not good art make.
Just look at Hollywood. -

oh man that's sooo good!

the pictures are amazing but i quite like the backgrounds, the rolling tracts of farm land add abit of an epic feel to an otherwise simply romantic picture. but i love the industrial scene in a bull dozer with the construction cranes and small time houses in the back. i feel like hes trying to fly away but everyones holding him back.
