The former Blur/Gorillaz/The Good, The Bad & The Queen frontman will release a new album in July.
Albarn told BBC 6Music: "This one's [the new album] got about 80, 90 musicians on it – something in that region. It's got a 100-piece Chinese choir on one of the tunes. That plus the orchestra probably goes to about 120, 130 people."

As a long time Blur fan, I'm a little biased but I've always thought Damon Albarn's one of the finest songwriters around today. From britpop classics to Mali Music to Chinese operas, the guy has an incredible versatility.
This video is him performing 'Sunset' with Afel Bocoum and Malian musicians from the Mali Music album. -
He's like Paul Simon for a new generation. Somebody stop him.
