After watching Jon Stewart’s slant on ** Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia, who discards his usual disdain for the press to hawk his new book, “Making Your Case: The Art of Persuading Judges.” When reporter Leslie Stahl asks about the infamous Bush v. Gore decision, Scalia lashes out, “Get over it. It’s so old by now.”** I wanted to share it with other Americans who can't 'Get Over It'. Are you over it?

It also covers Scalia’s interpretation of ‘Torture’ and ‘Punishment’. When watching the segment it became totally obvious how they can interpret the law so badly. He is smug, he has made them all above the law! “Get Over It”?

We have a Vice President, when asked about the majority of Americans not agreeing with the War, answers “SO”, complements of a Supreme Court Justice who tells Americans “Get Over It”! Something is wrong here. They do it in plain sight, live in front of people. Where is their ‘shame’? What will it take for accountability? What will Americans do? What can we do? Is it too late already?

After watching Jon Stewart it was so obvious, they think it’s all a game and we are avatars in their game of virtual ‘Rule the World’. ‘The Few’ get to control ‘The Many’! They make the rules! It was both funny and sad! It's an 'Assault on Reason'.

I must admit, it was mostly sad. I can't 'get over it' I'm living it! I don't classify anything they have done as 'over'. When America brings back accountability, it will be over for me.

  • My God, this man sits on our Supreme Court - it's no wonder our country is losing all sense of logic. Very sad indeed Conniepae.

  • iI think there are an awful lot of us that can't 'get over it.' The country certainly hasn't gotten over it. The way it's been for the past 8 years, we may never get over it. What an asshole.

  • Maybe someone should inform this judge that if the people of the United States aren't over it, he might have fucked up.

People don't usually latch on this long nor dig this hard when a reasonable decision is made.
