Fraternity leaders face hazing charges

The Travis County Attorney’s Office charged four members of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon Texas Rho Chapter on Friday for allegedly hazing pledges with cattle prods, beating them with bamboo sticks and forcing them to binge drink.

No word yet if the accused will be forced to stand on the ledge of the library, blindfolded, with a cinder block tied to their genitals, and forced to toss it off the ledge not knowing if there is enough slack on their end of the rope or not.

  • Hmm, is there a statute of limitations on hazing. 20 years ago that Theta Chi was pretty harsh on us.

  • Hello it is a fraternity. Beer, beer, and more beer is the stereotype (and actuality more often than not). So yes this is horrible, but not unexpected from a fraternity.

    You would think that if they wanted to be the chapter everyone wants in they would initiate with a combination of hot call girls, a keg and a hookah...

  • Sometimes fraternities think of the wierdest and cruelest ways of hazing. Honestly, once you're in college, shouldn't you be past that juvenile point in life?
