  • Christof and Kaj from the Vanguard team spent some time in Somalia in the summer of 2006. Check out the situation as it was then.

  • I see, Bush is attempting to stir up more conflict and provide the appearance of legitimacy if something happens here?

Was this guy and his group really terrorists or was it that they represented a threat to corporate interests in the region?

This is a god reason why we need early elections. Hillary needs to step aside least Busheney and gang attempting to prevent any Democrat from being elected for years to come - with Bush as supreme dictator himself.

The Dems need to think smart about this. Can't trust a desperate man / woman / person / transexual / goofer / Siberian husky. (Just thought I'd cover a wide range of possibilities. You never know.)

Coming from a military back ground I'll say this. This guy was threat. a group of military intelligence officers had to gather some sort of intelligence pointing to this fact, before placing it on the table for Dippy's (Bush) eyes to see. i coast a lot of money to hit someone like this. Be sure to stop by and check out our pod we love to hear your feedback.

  • Yes yes great job, woot and FTW! But uhhhh what about that guy...you know the one, with the beard and the funny hat? He kinda had his cronies fly some planes into a couple buildings and killed thousands of people, anyone remember that guy?

This is like Notre Dame making a big deal about beating Army, wake me up when you beat USC.

  • in all honesty, osama is most likely buried in a cave somewhere. the video's released in the last few years from al jazeera were nowhere near believable

  • its liki bush is trying to be involved in every world conflict while creating new ones just for us. i am so sick of this bullshit. maybe the guy was a threat, but how big a threat? did he have an anti-american agenda? how much proof is there to say this man was worth the time and money and collateral life? and was it for corporate america or americans?

  • What I wonder is that...Why such a strike at this point? What came to pass that urged an attack on these terrorists right now, with everything else so hot elsewhere?

  • Considering the world we live in today I would rather targeted killings rather that war like we have in Iraq. I would like to believe that if we just minded our own business everything would be ok but today we have individuals who are actively working to cause major disruptions to the status quo. We have to find ways of dealing with these individuals that do not involve all out war.

I agree with diode Osama is more than likely long dead. The only reason it is not believed is because it benefits all parties to let the lingering fear of Osama alive. The radicals use him as a recruiting tool and the US republican hawks need a tool to keep Americans fearful so that they can justify continued war in these newly occupied areas. We can't leave the middle east if Osama is still out there plotting.
