Tandem surfing has a long and rich tradition, beginning on Hawaii in the 1800’s. Over the years, it has evolved from a man and a woman standing together on a single board to a series of technical lifts and international competitions. Today, the sport has grown to international popularity, with tandem teams in Australia, France, England, Peru, and of course, California and Hawaii.
