Jose Gonzalez takes the hot seat on the Daily Fix to discuss his new album, intriguing music videos, and the simple initiatives to "green" his current tour.

Jose's cover of The Knife's "Heartbeats" was used in an amazing Sony commercial with 1000's of little rubber bouncy balls - which is what helped launched his career.

The pig-man's a little creepy, but I love his music. Hear more of it at his myspace.

Joseeeee!!! Saw you in Miami! Thank you for a great show! HOPE HOPE HOPE to be at Bonnaroo and see ya perform again!
Thanks for keeping it green too! We have a lot to learn from other countries here in the US. I think we're on the verge of getting our act together though. Hopefully sooner than later.....-

Saw Jose at Webster Hall a few months ago. For most of the show it was him sitting alone in the middle of an empty stage, playing guitar, singing, and tapping his foot. I'd barely listened to his music before my girlfriend convinced me to go that night, but I've been a fan ever since.
The two songs mentioned in this video are my favorites on his new album, with crazy videos to match:

Teardrop is the third single from the Jose Gonzalez album, "In Our Nature", out now on Mute. This video was directed by Andreas Nilsson.
