  • 40 billion dollars! Like anyone has that. Oh wait I forgot about that whole war thing that costs billions of dollars a day. How about stopping that rather then this crap.

    Impeach Bush!

  • The shirts are back ordered until May 31st, but they only cost $22.00 and come with free shipping!

  • What about the newspapers, etc.? Will they be sued as well? Seems a cheap way (another Rove tactic?) to prevent news of US casualties becoming public.

Strange the parents would go after a t-shirt company. How about they go after Bush? He's the one who started the war that killed their son.

  • On the one hand, one could argue this t-shirt uses tragedy as a political gimmick. But on the other, it could be said that its a means of grieving and expressing outrage over thoughtless death. I think it's a violation of first amendment rights to make a T-shirt illegal though.

  • I think it's great, take that piece of garbage to the cleaners!

I would say that the parents most likely BELIEVE in what their son was doing, their son probably believed in what he was doing, and they are sick and tired of endless anti-US rhetoric from the left. Just a guess.
  • Right- anti-US. Because Bush, considered by 60% of historians to be the worst President in history, constitutes America.

It's sad how easily you neocon types are manipulated.

  • i like the shirt...

  • The dead soldiers names are printed elsewhere and are in the public domain. I'm sure there isn't a leg to stand on - but it'd bet the Busheney group is behind the law suit.

The attitude is a changin' in America. We ain't puttin' up with this shnit any longer.

    Vote for Obama!

  • I second magnusdeus's comment to Liberal_Extinction. Anti-US? Give me a f***ing break.

The purpose of the t-shirt is to bring recognition and a sense of mourning for the thousands of lives lost in a war that was waged based on untruths. We're not supposed to be allowed to publicly disagree with the parents' views that their son's death served some kind of positive purpose? Why? In case we hurt their feelings and create a crack in their shield of denial? They should be equally as upset with this administration as we are, for sending their son to die for no good reason.

  • With rampant liberal "I'm offended by ______ and I demand money for it" lawsuits flooding our courts now a days, WTF makes it soooo hard to believe that someone doesn't want their dead son used for anti-American left wing propoganda? I honestly don't know what their REAL reason behind it is but I can say 1 thing for sure, you idiots have asked for this, glamorized/ popularized lawsuits for profit. This IS a case of the chickens "left wing" coming home to roost. I hope they financially BURY the maggot that created the shirt. It serves you right.
  • Anyone can make their own t=shirt with a parker or fabric paint. Maybe each of us should make a memorial shirt with the name and/or photo of a victim of this war. Not just military, but the babies, women and elderly who have been killed as well.
    patsarts
  • Don't sell it for profit and I'm sure these parents won't have a problem with it or even notice that you're doing it.
