Children found dead in car - Scotland

Two boys have been found dead in a parked car on the outskirts of Glasgow. The bodies of the two-year-old and six-year-old were found in an isolated car park in Lennoxtown. Police are treating the deaths as suspicious and have "a positive line of inquiry".

A man who was found at the scene at about 4.30pm yesterday evening remains at Glasgow's Royal Infirmary, where he is believed to be under police guard. The discovery was made on Crow Road in the East Dunbartonshire town. Police confirmed that the vehicle was moved from the car park at about 11pm last night by a recovery lorry under police escort.

Officers remain at the scene scouring the isolated car park for traces of evidence.
