The documentary Susan for Now takes the viewer on a journey of discovery through what most people know only vaguely as a mysterious and taboo subculture: the world of sadomasochism.
The film is a first person account of a woman reclaiming her sexual freedom after a ten-year period of self-imposed celibacy and follows the filmmakers personal quest through the underground world of the sex positive community in Seattle. As the dialogue states, this is a refreshing and unbiased look at BDSM. There's a lot going on out there, and news about it is normally negative in the press. I'm very glad to see this short movie.

Wow so far the most honest portrayal of the scene so far on current. A lot of the people on the film remind me of the people I know in the scene.
