Please use the ACLU's letter to let Congress know we won;t allow them to give telecom companies immunities for crimes they may have committed in the name of "Homeland Security."

Here is a link to the page (The one above is broken). it is a secure link, and that conflicted with Current's format.

  • Anything nearing a compromise means tearing just a few more pieces of parchment from the Constitution. Sadly, this administration has eaten its way PAST the margins and into the body of the most sacred document ever created by our founders.

Because of Bush and Cheney, we have no more "margin" in which to err and none left to tear.

We need to stand up to the tyranny.

  • Thanks cosmo. In the Hstorical Review of Pennsylvania (1759) Benjamin Franklin Made a statement which is famous today..."They that give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety"... In 1788 James Madison made a speech in the Virginia Convention that contained this Quote "I BELIEVE there are more instances of the abridgement of the freedom of the people by gradual and silent encroachment of those in power than by violent and sudden usurpations." In my opinion both of these statements where made under similar circumstances as we are facing at this very time..... all to similar... Jail these criminals. We have progressed , at one time they would have been hung for treason....

  • I signed, although the FCC and this blog site disallows my saying what I truly think of these petulent weasels.

  • I LIKE the term "petulant weasels". It is so fitting and a tad bit humiliating to the politician being described thusly, don't you think?

Like I say, fitting and well said and it so aptly tells the story of what they have done for the spineless plutocrats who hire them and tell their lobbyists to pull the strings from K Street.

I hope soon, our efforts will help to unleash the wrath of an informed and energized working class that rise up and defeat the evil and greedy who would own America.

Not while there are thinking people left, you money-hungry despots.
