They should tell us where this is held. I'd love to join them...

That crazy percussive instrument 40 seconds in is the same as in this video I think.
Also, Was that Ms. Riley at 1:18ish?
You are going to force me to make an instrument now...-

beautiful. i love that slime-atron! It's true, amidst all this technological advance and mass production, many of us are yearning for the kind of intimacy that can only be found in a handmade work of art. Let's bring back the art of craft!

Really cool topic and an all-round well-made piece. It was smart to show us the instruments as much as you did. I wanted to see what these crazy instruments people were talking about looked like and hear what they sounded like... and I got to. Good camera work, especially for being off the tripod and nice selection of sound bites. Also, I liked how you tied in how these instruments tie into a larger movement for creative arts. Good stuff.

Very neat. It reminds me of the hydraulophone, which uses water to make music.

Hi, there -- I'm Peter from createdigitalmusic.com; I'm one of the event organizers (and I'm in the video). The events are usually held at Etsy Labs in
Brooklyn.

We're hoping to do one soon this summer. I post event info here...

... though maybe we should actually set up a dedicated page!
Thanks for all this feedback, though! Hope to see you at one of these if you're in the area. :) -
amazing! I'm stunned that people come up with these instruments. I need to go and see this in person!
