UK firm develops non-stick chewing gum

Revolymer has raised 10 million pounds to bring a new "Clean Gum" into the market. The new product is easily removed from pavements and shoes and is the result of polymer research at the University of Bristol.

  • Why not try and stop people from dropping their gum on the pavement in the first place?
    I don't know, put more bins around London or those boards you stick your gum onto as a means of disposal.

  • Local authorities are always looking for ways of generating revene why not cross reference the black patches of mouth droppings on our pavements against the national DNA database.

    If they can use anti terror laws to bug and track parents who are making applications to schools based on post codes then can sue as hell sort out the people who make our environment filthy.
