Is Peak Oil A Lie?

Lindsey Williams talks about his first hand knowledge of Alaskan oil reserves larger than any on earth. And he talks about how the oil companies and U.S. government won't send it through the pipeline for U.S. citizens to use.

If this man is telling the truth, and there is no reason why he should be lying, could this mean that the Bush administration and its puppeteers intend to let the world run out of oil while keeping the world's hugest and untapped source of oil for itself so that they and the US can effectively take over total control of the world - oil to feed a growing titanic war machine's airplanes, tanks, humvees, etc.?

It's a long video, so do watch it when you have one and a quarter hours to spare.

  • Of course Peak oil is a lie. Look at who is generating this garbage.

  • What are you referring to when you say "this garbage"?

  • Guy's a crock. Peak oil does not mean running out of crude, he has no idea what he's talking about.

There's not enough oil in the Alaskan reserve to fuel America for a year.

    They'd hardly be controlling anything.

And once again, people have fundamentally missed the point of what peak oil means and I'm tired of it. We're not running out of oil, and that is not what peak oil means.

Peak oils means we can't provide it fast enough to how high our demand for gas is.

Even if this guy wasn't full of it, it wouldn't stop peak oil.

  • Peak oil is not what you describe. Perhaps you ought to read Hubbert.

You haven not in any manner demonstrated that Lindsey Williams is a "crock" - you have only made an assertion. I doubt that you have watched the whole video, too.
