Marco Mina is one of the most representative skateboarders around. He has won numerous prizes at a great many international events, and knows all there is to know about Los Angeles ramps. He has always dreamed of bringing the skateboard to Italy, and to Turin in particular, as a form of social networking.
His story overlaps with the story of Talà, a young boy from Dakar, who has been fostered by an Italian couple in Turin.
Talà is handicapped, because he is deaf. His great dream is to learn to skate like Marco. But his “problem” means that he does not have a good sense of balance.
Our story tells of their relationship, of how the skateboard has given a young boy hope and how Marco has created a champion.

Marco Mina è uno dei più rappresentativi skater in circolazione. Pluridecorato in moltissime gare internazionali, grande conoscitore delle rampe losangeline, il suo sogno è sempre stato quello di portare lo skate in Italia, e in particolare a Torino, e farlo diventare momento di aggregazione.
La sua storia si intreccia con quella di Talà, un bambino di colore di Dakar, in affidamento a una coppia di genitori italiani a Torino.
Talà è portatore di un handicap: è sordo. Il suo grande desidero è quello di imparare ad andare in skate come Marco. Ma il suo “problema” non gli permette di aver un grande equilibrio.
La nostra storia racconta il loro rapporto, come lo skate ha dato speranza a un bambino e come Marco ha creato un campione.
