This is an edit of the setting-up & opening of the launch night of my crazy label-produced vinyl toy 'Droplet' which was held @ Go Go Plastic in The Custard Factory, Birmingham on Friday May 2nd 2008!

The launch featured a world-first shipment of 128 Droplets which came in hand-numbered boxes and had a extra special glossy coating.

Over half the entire shipment sold on the night, with the remaining lot selling out a few days over - I'm over the moon with the reception to the lil' fellas!

The night also showcased over 40 customized Droplets from artist friends of mine, who pulled out all the stops to give the toys a brand new look!

  • Thanks for uploading! This looks like an interesting toy and shop! I kind of want a droplet! The only thing I would say is that it would have been good to see the process with the creator of them in a more narrative way - so from design, to production to opening of store...

    Thanks for the feedback too - I was going to do a narrative but ran out of time - i might do a re-edit of it and add a voice-over!
