School dinners with ecstasy

One lunchtime at a Russian school turned into 'a lunatic asylum' after their school dinner was found to have been spiked with ecstasy.

Russian police are reportedly looking into the matter which allegedly saw pupils stripping off, climbing walls (literally), and laying on the floor laughing.

Beats lumpy custard I guess.

School dinners with ecstasy

  • Wow, talk about promoting 'love your fellow pupils'.

I can just imagine the chaos in the classroom: "You, boy! Stop chewing in class! And you! And you as well!"

Entirely unrelated, this video just popped into my head.

But seriously, someone could have died.

  • Humbrum: Perhaps you should look at the stats for deaths on ecstasy again in relation to the number of people taking and most of them would probably have been from some other complication such as overheating due to too much dancing. I think you have more chance dying from eating peanuts.

That's actually what I was thinking of (overheating and such). When one knows what they are doing, the level of danger goes down significantly; but with a bunch of kids who obviously don't know what the hell's going on, they could easily overheat, bash their heads on something, etc.

  • Hell yeah! Fun times, fun times. Why didn't we get to do anything like that in school? :'(

  • I'm sure the KGB (and Putin) had something to do with it.

  • LMAO

That kid is the MAN!!! Everyone is clear on his position.

Nevertheless, I know some people that went to schools here in the US with similar values. . .

You are right, the picture is priceless.

sounds like a typical day in a Russian elementary school to me, especially in the Stalin years - the 'ecstasy' angle is pure media sensationalism...

  • Could so easily have back fired, it does make make me chuckle to think of chaos that ensued.

For any teenagers thinking of doing this, DONT.

You will get charged with Poisoning and if any one dies you will be charged with Murder.

  • Well, spiking people with any drug is completely and utterly deplorable. There really is no excuse.

Re. the guy in the photo; I think the slogan's must have been photoshop-ed? I've seen the photo used all over the interwebs - I'd love to find out who he is... someone needs to produce a documentary where they locate him for an interview.

  • it's not the kids i'm concerned about - i pity the parents who have to explain to their kids that X is , for real , bad, and isn't good for you .
