Halal confusion. As insults were traded among contestants on the losing team in this week's Apprentice, Sir Alan Sugar berated the contestants for not knowing what a kosher chicken was. For the Apprentices, the task of finding the right person to perform shechita would have been particularly difficult in a predominantly Muslim country like Morocco.

  • Just another example of how the general public are quite ignorant to cultural and religious values of other people. That is why I'm making a pod about all the inventions that the Muslims made at the height of their existents (between 600-1600 CE). Their is an exhibition in Croyden Clocktower in South London but if you can't make it down then don't worry cause I'm going to be focusing on that. WATCH THIS SPACE.

    Correct me if I'm wrong:

    Isn't Kosher chicken the same as halal. Being a Muslim I have always understood that if u wanted to eat halal food then you could eat kosher. So, I wonder why Alan Sugar doesn't want to simply eat halal food?
