Inspiring Change through Music - Singer Songwriter Ben Jelen

Singer songwriter and humanitarian Ben Jelen recently launched en environmental foundation to educate and create awareness of environmental issues at large. The environmental has been a prevalent theme in Ben's music and his latest release "Ex-Sensitive" (produced by Linda Perry) was written as a love letter to the planet, including songs like "Wreckage" that are literally about Global Warming. Thus far the foundation has recent financial support from Altoids, Fiji, Eastpak and Replay Jeans, who donated a portion of their Earth Day revenue to the foundation. Although Ben may not have the visibility of larger "Green Artists" he is adamant that even the smallest contribution can make a difference. While on the road Ben does what he can on a daily basis to contribute to the preservation of this planet. By making these daily commitments to the planet Ben is hoping that he can inspire and motivate more people to make small daily contributions, the sum of which can make a significant impact of the future of this planet.
