I'm calling Shenaniganz!
You mean to tell me in over 100 years someone didn't flip the switch... Besides, the article has contradicting statements:
"The Livermore lightbulb, you see, never gets turned off, which many suspect is the secret to its longevity."
"In July 1976, Livermore held its collective breath when it moved the bulb a short two miles "
"They moved the bulb, socket and all, cutting the cord to 4 feet. At the new site, as dozens looked on, the electrician made the connection and said a prayer."
And how many times has your power gone out in the last 5 years? yeah, my chances at this title are over.
One of the oldest working bulbs maybe.. not continually burning.
