Molotov Alva and His Search for the Creator: A Second Life Odyssey

Filmmaker Douglas Gayeton has produced a documentary film about his avatar Molotov Alva's encounters in Second Life after deciding to abandon real life. The film, shot entirely on the Second Life platform, reveals Alva's introductions to different characters in the virtual world and possibly makes a soul-mate connection. Gayeton has explored similar territory with the animated television program Delta State, and has also collaborated with sci-fi writer William Gibson on a video game based on the feature length film Johnny Mnemonic. The film premieres Thursday, May 15, at 8:00 pm (ET) on Cinemax.
