These boys were arrested last year for playing their rock music. Really! Just for playing rock music!

Iran should be proud of the talent these boys have and let them grow.
Anyway, the boys went to a pretty lousy jail for several months and are now out doing what they want and do best. Communicate with their art. When I talk to them, they all say they want peace in the world. I don't blame them, but they insisted I get the world out for them.

They came to me for help last year and I lost contact not knowing they were part of that roundup of rock bands the Iranian authorities arrested. They have now resurfaced and recontacted me. You can hear it in their music...

They want freedom! They want Peace! They want to express their views.....

  • This is great stuff...welcome to the new revolution...one that will not be plagued by the hostile means by which our adversaries feel they must control and manipulate the world...but instead rapt with the joy of peace and love combined now with logic and reason...sixties here we come again...

  • Thank you WorldPeace......the thing I like about you most is that you are trying to get others to see the whole picture......in every country where anything bad has happened.....there has always been so much more good than bad..........we look and say....those poor people....how can they stand such repression....and not do anything.....well...for the first time....people all over the world are looking at America.....and saying the same thing.....the only thing missing from Bush and Cheney......is the moustache....they keep it in a drawer......Golden Ruler.....Richard.........

  • WorldPeace.....you are one of favorites.....keep wailing....I got a large tv for my horse.....Isabella....showed her this video.....she smiled...and started dancing....I told her they were Iranian.....she didn't care.......such a brilliant horse.....difference between her and a politician......she don't take and lie......people...please don't fall for any more tricks in September or October.....the ones that pulled that last one did not die in a plane or anywhere else.....they think you are ready for another one.....Isabella told me this.....she don't lie.....Golden Ruler......Will........

  • Off topic a little but I just think it is so cool that people can talk here and in a few minutes get out thoughts for people to agree upon that governments can't or won't consider. .
    I actually apologized to a religious Christian for being insensitive the other day...took a little correction that she told me it hurt her and I edited that post and sent her a message that I was sorry..she said it was fine.
    Now Fox Noise would grab that as some easy propaganda..
    I think we need to treat each other more as family...there are people in my family that I can't stand their view points but I accept them because they are family..like a lot of the old people I think of every culture a lot of them are more prejudiced because of how things were when they grew up.
    The more communication we have like this the better and more peaceful we will become..I really think that.

  • I can't believe these kids were arrested for just singing thier music.. I would rather see the toting around a microphone then a gun.. where is the justice? .. thanks world peace. you are outstanding.. peace & love to everyone

  • The Bush administration feels they can manipulate us into believing anything they want us to, i.e. that Iran is trying to build up it's nuclear arsenal. However, the real reason the bushies want to go into Iran is to keep that OIL off the market so Opec can claim a shortage and keep driving the price up...read 'Armed Madhouse' by Greg Palast... very revealing info about what's been going on in the elitist circles of our insidious government for the past century...

    It's shocking, what they've done...all for money...

  • Well done.

    I like the music but I wish this piece had more content about their getting arrested and perhaps an interview or at least a voiceover talking about the circumstances. If all I saw was the video without the context of the written description I would have missed the point of the piece.

    If the piece were edited tighter to be a little shorter, it would be more impactful. The sequences create the mood changes but are longer than needed if trying to tell the story.
