Accelerating the Climate Crisis Debate - Al Gore and OpenSpime at the Italian launch of Current

Public debate through presentations of scientific information, and the data collected from distributed open sensor networks complements the policy making process. OpenSpime met Al Gore at the launch of Current TV in Italy, and we asked him about how the community of Current can help evolving, and accelerating the enactment of legislation that implements the desired changes concerning the Climate Crisis.

    Thank you for asking him that question. I too believe CURRENT should be an activist link to putting pressure on politicians to do the moral thing when it comes to the climate crisis. I wish you luck.

    The latest video from Al Gore to Current is also about change: "What changes have you seen that inspire you?" So this is certainly on his mind ;)

    In the US nothing is going to happen until this November. Let's hope that things turn the right way after that!

    Yes, it has been on his mind for thirty years... so glad to see it is on so many others' now. As far as November in the U.S. let's hope so too. I have been critical of the candidates' climate change plans because I don't think they go far enough fast enough, but I am grateful it has at least been mentioned more. However, we need much more than talk. Hopefully, that will come in time. Thanks.
