WASHINGTON (May 10) - The centerpiece for the Martin Luther King Jr. memorial on the National Mall has drawn criticism from a federal arts panel, which says the proposed statue looks "confrontational" and resembles the head of a socialist state more than a civil rights leader.....

This really pisses me off. For one i looked at it and saw MLK in a strong leadership pose. yes it is dominating but as of right now i do think MLK would still be ticked about how we are handling civil rights so he should look mad. also the fact that people are complaining that the artist should have been "black or at least american" is disgusting and totally opposite of what MLK stood for.
