Janet McCloud traveled the continent like her ancestor Chief Seattle with salmon, dentalium, abalone, dried huckleberries and meat. She shared the traditions in the great wealth of the Northwest (United States) bestowed upon her Tulalip and Nisqually peoples by the Great Mystery, the Creator. Janet always said that our aboriginal rights were given to us by the Creator and could not be taken away by other men (or women.)
