Barack Obama faces an untested set of hurdles

For the first time, a major political party is on the brink of choosing an African American as its candidate for president, but when Democratic strategists and other analysts look ahead, they don't see race as Barack Obama's biggest challenge.Instead,Obama's most important test should he lock up the nomination will come from Republican efforts to paint him as an elitist, a social and cultural liberal outside the mainstream of American life.He is perceived as a liberal. He is perceived by many voters as not well grounded on foreign policy and not tough enough . . . and he has a potential problem of being seen as an elitist, an intellectual." "The key is going to be whether Barack can avoid getting on defense on social 'wedge' issues and stay on the offense on economic issues," McCaskill said.Polls suggest McCaskill may be right.A survey released this month by the independent Pew Research Center found that most voters described Arizona Sen. John McCain, the presumptive Republican nominee, as "a centrist whose views are fairly close to their own," even though McCain describes himself as a thoroughgoing conservative. The same voters described Obama as the most liberal of the candidates still in the race, well to the left of what they saw as the midpoint of American politics. And Obama ranked below both McCain and New York Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, his rival for the Democratic nomination, on the question of whether the candidate was "tough enough" to protect the nation's
security.Obama acknowledges potential vulnerabilities, but he and his strategists believe those would be overshadowed in the general election campaign by economic and other issues.

  • "He is perceived as a liberal. He is perceived by many voters as not well grounded on foreign policy and not tough enough ."

Wow, now where would anyone possibly get that idea? Couldn't be because he is too liberal, has no foriegn policy experience, and deems every question of him as a smear, unfair, and out of bounds. Nah, that's not it.

  • Fact of the matter is he is not going to get the nomination. Hillary will. He started his platform of running his campaign that he was going to united the country. He is connected to a location were he believes in the Black Value System and Pledges Allegiance to it. He is connected to a man that set bombs and he has lied to the face of this country more then 9 times that I have counted. He subjected his children to a location that taught this stuff and he has lied about not getting money from Oil companies.
He voted for the Bush-Cheney Energy bill that put money in his pocket and his wife acts like she is on welfare and acts like she knows what it is like to have it bad when she makes over $300,000 dollars.
It takes 2209 Delegates to win the nomination not 2025. Florida and Michigan voted and those votes will count come the Convention. DNC Rules state they will be seated. And know prison scare tactics will change that.
It matters little If Obama tries to announce before the Convention that he thinks he wants to be the nomimee because. Hillary won Florida FACT. Hillary won Michigan FACT. Florida and Michigan will not be counted out of the General election. And as far as DNC Rules state the Credentials Committee will rule is the only governing body that has the power to place undo the sanctions and seat the delegates of an offending state.
And if Obama does not agree to both Florida and Michigan being seated before the convention to resolve this problem only because both candidates have to agree or it goes to the convention and then the committee takes over. Then come he will never the the chance to run again when he loses this time.
He needs to agree to let Florida and Michigan have a voice. Agree that Hillary has more experience then he does and ask her if he can be in her Administration.
He needs more experience and if he were to get it from Hillary a former President Bill Clinton then he would be a powerful Democratic figure. He needs to get away from that church and state it that he made a serious mistake, show people he will salute the Flag and get away from Ayers. This if he does while he is in Hillary's Administration then when he goes back to run for President he would win hands down.

Bit he is in a Fight with a Senator that has been the First Lady this is a fight he will not win. This Lady has the experience of the White house a Governor ship her husband that understanding, the foreign work she did with President Carter's Administration the legal work she has done on the em Peachment trail of Nixon the bills she put into action while she was First Lady come on. He is hurting the Democratic Party can he not see this. If he were to get the nomination this is what would happen to this country and the Democratic Party.
1st. former President Clinton and former First Lady Hillary who have helped put the Democratic party back on it's feet because of the problems with Dukasis, McGovern all that will go down the tubes and will lose Pennsylvania to the Republican party and Ohio and Florida for the next two terms ( 8 more years ).
2nd. They will because it is the young people that will be around, will blame it on the battle of between a white Woman and a Black man. By this time it will change to being a sexist issue and the Black man will get the blame for it.
3rd. He will want to run for office and the youth will throe all of this at him and he will lose again to a white person because of all of this. Then the whole thing starts all over again!
4th in the MEAN TIME the country is worst off then it was before and nothing is resolved and everyone looks like the bad guy!

So help someone get there head out of their A## before this keeps going around in circles all over again!
Why can I say this like this because I have seen this before and it is happening again!

I have been listening to Obama's speeches everywhere he has campaigned on youtube. This man is just a bunch of fluff. He has no specifics, he repeats himself over and over with the same speech just moves his words around to make the speech sound different.

I also noticed that he and his campaign PREYS ON THE YOUNG COLLEGE KIDS. Just as soon as he gets into your state, his campaign will hit those colleges because he knows these kids are vunerble. THIS MAN IS A PHONY AND HE IS A CON. He will not take any questions about his past and his associates like Rezko or terrosist Bill Ayers...etc. his comment is the following: "Look, I want to get beyond this, I want to look foward to the future, people don't want to hear about this," He will not answer specifics, all we know is that he stated on the last debate that he will raise taxes. He has no clue on the economy without taking Warren Buffet's words and using them as his own. PLEASE THINK BEFORE WE PLACE THIS INEXPERIENCE PERSON IN THE WHITE HOUSE

SWING STATE DEMOCRATS SAY HILLARY BEST FOR TOP OF TICKET
Over a dozen members of Congress wrote to other Democrats touting their support for Hillary, saying she is the strongest candidate to have at the top of the ticket in the fall.
    Dear Fellow Democrat,
We are writing to you because of our shared belief in our Party’s principles and our commitment to ensuring that we have the strongest possible nominee to lead our ticket against John McCain and the Republicans in November.
The decision about who to support to be our Party’s nominee is not one that any of us should take lightly. We haven’t. But, after giving this important decision a great deal of thought, we are convinced that Hillary Clinton has the vision, skills and commitment to make the changes our country needs. As Democrats who have run and won in competitive Congressional districts and battleground states, we believe that Hillary is best positioned to successfully lead the Democratic ticket in districts and states like ours around the country.
As you know, Hillary has racked up victories in bellwether states like Ohio, Pennsylvania and now Indiana that are absolutely vital to winning the White House and maintaining our Congressional majority in the fall. Hillary has won the big battleground states by connecting with voters whose support we must have to

Clinton offers a bold vision for American foreign policy
    By Christy Macy
    April 11, 2008
In recent days, I often haven't recognized the Hillary Clinton being portrayed in the media. I am concerned that the woman I worked with in the White House for nearly two years is getting lost in the spin cycle - particularly when it comes to her potential role as "commander in chief."
While she clearly erred in her recent description of what happened at an airport in Bosnia years ago, the incident has been blown out of proportion. As one who has worked closely with her, I can say that Senator Clinton's experience and work overseas point to something far more significant: a new direction in American foreign policy, which is in desperate need of change.
When I was on her staff, Mrs. Clinton pursued a daunting schedule of foreign trips. She addressed the annual meeting of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, exhorting the world's business and governmental leaders on the importance of international development as a foundation for civil society. She understood that peace in Northern Ireland depended on the engagement of citizens at the grass roots, especially women - a point she stressed in the Millennium Lecture at the University of Ireland in Galway. And she stood on the stage at the Palermo Opera House in Sicily, speaking passionately about the critical role of citizens' movements in the quest to defeat organized crime and reclaim communities.
For me, the depth of her commitment to these issues was evident not only during her moments in the spotlight. It also emerged behind the scenes, as she pushed us off the beaten track to consult people about their everyday lives and struggles. Over the years, in nearly 80 countries, these personal experiences and conversations deeply shaped her policy agenda and explain why she believes we must invest our prestige, power and dollars in human development.
One such occasion remains vivid: Mrs. Clinton's visit - up five flights of stairs - to a small women's legal clinic in Beijing. It was hot and stuffy, but the room was packed with women eager to meet with the first lady of the U.S. In a totalitarian country, where women's rights were still marginal at best, these women lawyers worked tirelessly to help others claim their rights on such issues as divorce and housing - often at some risk to themselves. They were stunned at Mrs. Clinton's knowledge of the issues they faced. After a lively discussion, one woman stood up. "You have no idea," she said, "what it means that you are here today with all of us. We will never forget this." And she began to weep.

I believe it is the right thing to do showing who candidates associate with. We need to look at these relationships more closely when we choose who is to lead this country. We have to first ask ourselves do we want a person with very little experience, 3 1/2 years, one that takes and allows their own family members to hear and be subjected to teachings that talk of hate towards the United States. Should we not hold the politicians that send or military to the same standard that we hold are US Military too.

Should they also protect the Constitution of the United States of America and be held accountable if they violate that trust. Should the ones that run for office salute the American Flag and show their patriotism for those who have died for this country.

Obama does not and goes around every question when asked why he does not.
Here is the reason he does not.

Please Spread this Around and tell everyone you can, this is something so powerful that the military will want to know about it.

Want To Know Why OBAMA Does Not Salute THE AMERICAN FLAG.

    CHECK THIS OUT!

PUT THIS IN A GOOGLE SEARCH / TRINITY UNITED CHURCH OF CHRIST CHANGED WEB SITE

You will find the archived Web Site From that church at the middle of the page Three LINKS.

    ARCHIVED WEB SITE

WEB SITE AS IT IS NOW

AND A PDF FILE FROM ARCHIVED WEB SITE

IT IS THE TEACHING OF THAT LOCATION CALLED THE BLACK VALUE SYSTEM THIS WAS LOCATED AND SAVED BY FOX NEWS SO THEY CAN USE IF OBAMA WAS TO WIN THE NOMINATION. THIS THEY REMOVED FROM THE WEB SITE BEFORE THE SITE WAS CHANGED SO AS NO ONE ELSE FOUND THIS OUT AND SO THIS WAS NOT PUBLISHED TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC. WITH THIS INFORMATION YOU AS AN INFORMED CITIZEN CAN MAKE A REAL DECISION AS TO IF YOU WHAT SOMEONE RUNNING THIS COUNTRY THAT FOLLOWS THESE BELIEVES.

IT IS CALLED THE BLACK VALUE SYSTEM.

PLEASE DO NOT BELIEVE ME! I WANT YOU TO READ THIS FOR YOURSELF.

THIS IS NOT A JOKE! THIS IS ON A WEB SITE THAT IF IT WERE NOT TRUE COULD BE SUED FOR ALL IT IS WORTH.

THIS IS STILL ON THE TRINITY UNITED CHURCH OF CHRIST WEB SITE BUT YOU REALLY HAVE TO SEARCH FOR IT BECAUSE THEY HIDDEN IT'S LOCATION SO IT IS NOT EASILY FOUND ON THEIR WEB SITE.

THIS ALSO EXPLAINS WHY THE BLACK PANTHERS ARE SUPPORTING OBAMA, AND WHY YOU NO LONG HEAR ABOUT THEM AS YOU DID IN THE LATE 60's.

THE ONLY GROUP CLOSE TO HAVING A DOCTRINE OR TEACHING AS SICK AS THIS WAS HITLER'S STROM TROOPERS.
AND WE KNOW WHAT HE WAS ALL ABOUT.

NO ONE NOW NEEDS TO WONDER WHY OBAMA GOES AROUND THE QUESTION WHEN ASKED WHY HE DOES NOT SALUTE THE AMERICAN FLAG, AS HE DID TO THE LADY IN PENNSYLVANIA. AS HE SAID TO HER,
THERE IS KNOW WHERE ELSE I CAN DO WHAT I'M DOING! DID HE MEAN STAND UP IN FRONT OF PEOPLE AND TALK AROUND THE QUESTION HE WAS ASKED AN THINK HE IS GOING TO GET AWAY WITH IT ? OR DID HE MEAN IN NO OTHER COUNTRY COULD HE GET AWAY WITH HIS LIES WITH OUT GETTING SHOT BY THE GOVERNMENT THERE.

HE NEVER ANSWERED THE QUESTION .

QUESTION WAS: WHY DO YOU NOT SALUTE THE AMERICAN FLAG.

NOW HE WILL NOT SAY BECAUSE HE HAS PLEDGED ALLEGIANCE TO THE BLACK VALUE SYSTEM.

WHICH HE STATED HE WILL NOT LEAVE THAT LOCATION NOW YOU KNOW WHY.

EVERY TIME HE OPENS A SPEECH NOTICE HOW HE MENTIONS A BLACK OR AFRICAN AMERICAN PERSON TO MAKE HIMSELF FEEL AS IF HE IS SPEAKING TO AFRICAN AMERICANS.

REMEMBER HE LEARNED TO SPEAK TO PEOPLE IN A AFRICAN AMERICAN GROUP SETTING AND FROM JEREMIAH WRIGHT TAUGHT HIM AND STILL ADVISES HIM, A BLACK VALUE SYSTEM CHURCH.

WHAT KIND OF THINGS IS HE GOING TO DO IF YOU LET HIM.

READ THIS PDF FILE FOR YOURSELF.

HERE IS A LINK TO IT.
