England is self-important and irritating

According to a new tourist guide book, England is an irritating and stuck up country "full of overweight, binge-drinking, reality TV addicts."
The book, titled Rough Guide to England, does have a few compliments for English too. We are praised as a "nation of animal-loving, tea-drinking charity donors who love nothing better than forming an orderly queue."
Hmm. Thanks?

I’m going to quote the article real quick.
“They said the English are proud of their multi-culturalism and are united by one thing -- their sense of humor.
But there are constant contradictions. In a country priding itself on patriotism, they have a Scottish Prime Minister, an Italian football coach and a Greek married to the Queen.”
First off he should have said
The English are a proud multicultural nation united by their sense of humor. Secondly if you just said they are multicultural why would you say there is a contradiction with having a Greek married to the Queen, a Scottish Prime Minister and an Italian football coach?
Just because they are not of English ancestry does that really mean they cannot be patriotic? This article was written by Hitler and edited by a drunken baby who also hates British people. -
I think this is a PR stunt.

I'm confused, when did becoming Prime Minister of the UK become a job only for an English person? Or are Scots, Welsh and Northern Irish second class citizens?

I second that oracle.
"Full of overweight, binge-drinking, reality TV addicts?" Sounds more like America to me.
