They figure the next best thing came April 29 for the 88-year-old Rapid City woman, when she rallied long enough in her bed at Rapid City Regional Auxiliary Hospice House to cast her vote for Hillary Rodham Clinton.
To a woman born seven months before her gender won the right to vote in August 1920, seeing Clinton's name on a presidential ballot and marking her vote nearby was a dream realized, Steen's daughter, Kathy Krause, said.

Julie_Solier. What in the H#ll did that comment mean. Tha tis one of the coldest comments I have ever heard. I can see you have no respect for life and for what people in this world have gone though just so your life is now easier.ou have the right to do and say and speak and wear and vote and eat and walk and go to places and do things you would not have the chance to do if it was not for lady's like this one. This woman was born and lived when you women did not have the right to vote, did not have the right to walk beside there husbands or a man did not have the right to wear clothes that showed their ankles did not have the right to speak unless a man allowed them to do so. did not have the right to drive, did not have the right to go anywhere they wanted to go without a man's OK.
She lived in a time where you had to wear 5 to 6 layers of clothes and that is the way it was there was know sayiing you were not going to like the attitude you have and you showed your parents and family respect our your ass was beat till it was blood red.
And then some and you did what you were told to do or you did not eat. There were rules and those rules were real and you followed them our you knew it.
That is what this country needs now and there would not be this type of disrespect for those who are your elders. One thing you never did was dis respect your elders.
Remember what goes around comes around. And God did not intend for the child of this world to be diis repectful to there parents or those that are their senior.
You need to grow up and show respect for one day it will be you laying in that bed.-
