Isn't that just like the large Agri-Business lobby to influence government to STOP testing that could make beef safer to consumers?
The big boys in Agri-Business must have figured they could pay the lobbyists a few million to lobby the USDA and to thwart a smaller company from responding to consumer questions.
They must figure the millions that spend to subvert this apparent good faith effort by a small company will save them 10's of millions in costs later.
In effect, they are saying, we'll play the percentages and only a few cases will occur and by the time the symptoms show up, the victims won't be able to prove it was OUR beef.
