I wonder how the Earth's interior structure has been affected by oil depletion? Is this playing a role in it's land-shifting catastrophes? -
interesting points Huntre. I believe it to be true both below and above. I think we are only seeing the start of this great planet shifting. When it has happens to enough people in various places around the globe we may begin to get the idea that we better do something. For now... I suspect it is still stories of catastrophes happening to "them....over there" . Not close to home enough for it to REALLY matter. Just like war without pictures.

$3 Trillion May Be Too Low. Our original estimate of the cost of the Iraq war was too conservative: in reality the cost for the US will be much higher.

No. I don't listen to any of that Peak Oil BULL.
That crap is written by people who don't know a cotton pickin thing about oil and gas.
There is more oil and gas on this planet than you can shake a stick at. It's just deeper, more remote, or in places you might not want to go unless you were forced.
BIG CAP is never forced to do a DAMN thing. BIG CAP calls the shots. They are the elephants eating nothing but the best. Everyone else gets the crumbs,
If you don't know old energy it makes it almost impossible to be successful in alternatives. The one thing you must always remember is THIS.
WHAT GOES UP, COMES DOWN.
BIG CAP PLAYS THAT GAME BETTER THAN ANYONE. AND THEY PLAY IT WELL.
WATCH and see as all of the aternative fuel companies soon fall by the wayside as this thing starts to run the other way.
