  • very nice piece. diamond mining in reality looks a lot less intense than it did in the film blood diamond ... although maybe hollywood has a tendency to do that to real issues.

    but overall, I like how throughout the piece I felt like you as a journalist had created a relationship with your source, maybe through other people you had met out in seirra leone. that's a great example of solid, responsible journalism.
