Film, sculpture and a deep-sea diving suit are among the contenders for this year's £25,000 Turner Prize.
The shortlist, which was announced today, features three women born in three different countries, the first time this has happened since 1998.
The list includes Polish-born Goshka Macuga, whose Objects In Relation installations features a deep-sea diver beneath a board, inspired by Salvador Dali's performance in one at the International Surrealist exhibition in London in 1936.
