  • Now maybe the insanity will stop. Thank you John.
  • Yes! Guess what's coming next?
    Uh-huh. Obama/Edwards.

  • Thanks for posting this.
    This is wonderful news.
It makes things less scary when Edwards endorsed him for me because Edwards was my original choice..due to him standing up to the corps.
Wow that would be most great if he would be VP or even Attorney General. He could stop all those Megacorporate interests in their tracks!

  • OBAMA! OBAMA!
    jubal
  • Barack, please make him your Vice President. Give him his Jet Ski and it's a done deal.

  • Don't forget to vote and cancell out the little grey cloud that votes against all Obama posts.
  • Is this the winning ticket?

  • ah! wow ;D thank you eldamon! and thank you Marilynn' for posting this. how outstanding! It's a bit bitter sweet though for me. I really liked Edwards and I wanted *HIM* for president ;( LOL

cool post! I agree Cosmo', he's a classy guy for doing that. It can't be that popular to do, but perhaps he's getting the nod from other members of congress to help tone Hillary down as soon as possible =P

  • Thanks Echoz, I think Edwards listened to Hillary's speech last night and saw things spiraling out of control, and just decided to put a damper on it and give Obama a boost in the process. It needed done. I wanted Edwards too, even last election. Maybe there is a reason things are turning out this way?
  • Check this out......
    Marilynn --

I have some very exciting news.

My good friend John Edwards is endorsing our campaign and joining our movement for change.

We're here in Grand Rapids, Michigan -- and if you receive this message in time, you can probably turn on your TV and be part of the moment.

I'm deeply honored by John's support. He is a true leader who dedicated his career to improving the lives of ordinary Americans.

John ran a strong, principled campaign for president, focusing on a number of important issues where we share common ground -- universal health care, bringing our troops home from Iraq, and eliminating poverty in America.

The way he ran his campaign was also important. He ran in a way that reflected our shared conviction that we need to fundamentally change politics.

Like our campaign, John's campaign never accepted donations from Washington lobbyists or special interest PACs.

Let's welcome John Edwards to the campaign with an outpouring of the kind of grassroots support that is bringing our political process back to the people.

Make a donation of whatever you can afford now, and if you choose, include your own note to Senator Edwards. I'll make sure he gets them:

Thank you for all that you're doing,

    Barack

  • boy that's sweet he gives some tribute to what Edwards is really about just even mentioning the platform John Edwards ran on [re: Marilynn's letter]

and boy is that name Barack something too isn't it. I'm rolling that on my tongue now for the sound of it "President Barrrack!" Hmmm...I don't know but it's gonna be one for the ages if it goes down. First Black American, but with a middle eastern name (or something =P lol)

not sure I'll be able to send in a donation, but I'll be here for moral support when you need it most =P

I may need to consider how feisty this new guy Vlad Paxil is...Vlad Paxil for America, have you heard of him? ;P lol

  • Molly is suspending her campaign. She knows when it's time to give it up. She had an excellent bone in every dish platform too, plus her full face coverage health care plan. She knows it would just be destructive for the party to continue past this day. She thanks everyone that supported her and is seriously considering a congratulatory call to Obama, and a big raspberry to McCain.
  • I hope both Obama and Edwards take on the corporations and their undue power over us. AC, of course. (After Clinton)

  • I am guessing Edwards is going to be the AG.

I think they have a woman in mind for VP.

  • No Eco, They don't want Hillary, and to name another woman would be really bad form. I think it will be Edwards.
  • "and to name another woman would be really bad form."

Why? What's wrong with a woman VP nominee?
    JanforGore
  • Because it would be insulting to Hillary. Why would anyone do that to her?
  • It's not HRC. As I read it, the push is for a GOV. who is a former leader of the GOV. National Group.

    She is from KANSAS.

I like Edwards as AG, but I like Graham better for VP however She does look like a winner with a great background. From her Bio...

Governor Sebelius serves on the National Governors Association’s Executive Committee and is co-chair of the National Governors Association’s initiative, Securing a Clean Energy Future. Sebelius chairs the Education Commission of the States and as past chair of the Democratic Governors Association, she currently serves on the DGA Executive Committee.
    1Eco_Media
  • Also from her Bio...

She’s working with business and community leaders, utilities, and local governments to promote wind energy and biofuels production in Kansas, as well as expanded energy efficiency and conservation efforts.

  • I remember reading about Molly's full-face health care coverage plan somewhere LOL =D that's too funny

What's wrong with a woman VP? the fact it's a woman =P lmao... JUST kidding!!! Jeez =P lol Well who else would America have to put up with?

You know what though? screw that, I'll take Edwards as VP and hopeful for next election any day of the week, even if it's raining and the levees about to break. or even if that bombshell from Voyager's post were running for it =P well...maybe *she* might get my vote =P lol
    echoz
  • You're probably right, 1Eco!
    lapinex
  • hmmm... Don't governors always start the wars???
    echoz
  • Somehow, I can't imagine him rejecting Hillary and choosing a different woman. I really expect he will choose a man. I honestly think if he chose another woman it would be a slap in Hillary's face and divide the party.
  • PS JanforGore

There's nothing wrong with a woman VP but there is something wrong with Hillary being VP. "Obliterate Iran" ???
    BurningBush
  • Hmm... well, Jim Rogers endorses Ron Paul. (4:45 mark)
    Hawkmang
  • ready to jump on the bandwagon..Uh john?!
    claudiacice
  • People who care about what Edwards thinks, otherwise no one.

Also, nice persuasive skills. Glad to see someone really put their logical abilities to work. Breadgirl is a "fagot," seems airtight to me.

Anyways, this would matter to me more if I knew for certain that Edwards really felt that Obama was the best choice. It seems more like he's just endorsing him to end the race, especially after the comments he and his wife made. In any case, Edwards had my vote before he dropped out. I hope he gets a seat in Obama's white house if he gets that far.

  • Obama will never win the election against McCain!
