In lightly-populated, oil-rich Equatorial Guinea in Central Africa, long time President Teodoro Obiang Nguema says he is fine tuning democracy, while ensuring economic growth. But as recent legislative elections showed, opposition parties, who complain of a growing rich poor divide have little chance of winning any seats. Meanwhile, one opposition activist ended up dead in prison.
