Not sure how to describe this one, but am interested to hear what you all think.
You might think that the scenery in The Hoff's music video is untouched nature, but we've done a climate analysis of it to look into the impact on some of these natural beauties.

What will happen to my dreams tonight? -
mmm.. a climate-pop-up-analysis dream is likely... ; )

I am picturing a bit of Bay Watch with Al Gore running on the beach in slow motion wearing a Speedo. Frightful!

I wonder how many pounds of CO2 the hoff’s ego puts out.
-
I think it just solved the climate crisis!
All they have to do is get the airlines to harness Canadian Geese to pull them instead of jets since they have no net emissions right?
Actually I've seen a lot better pop-up videos with just as relevant facts as that one on VH1.
That one had a lot of dissonance between the song and what they tried to put with it. It was already too effects heavy and putting the pop-ups made it worse.

that was really disturbing. period.

Purdey (and Argon) : Yep ... a goose can be considered carbon neutral (*round of applause for Canada Geese*), meaning it has no measurable NET effect on the climate. Goose emissions are, by definition, biogenic--and so they would be excluded from any emissions inventory, just as humans don't need to feel bad about what they flush (gross, but you made me say it!). Our primary concern is emissions created from the geologic carbon cycle: a gas that has been created from fossil fuels and combustion.
And yes, we should make each Canada Goose spend time working for commercial aviation ; ) -
I don't know, it takes 10 dogs to pull 1 sled, so how many Canadian Geese does it take to pull 1 plane? 600 at the very least (100 for each wing and each side of the tail then 200 for the fuselage)
How many Canadian Geese are there? I know David Hasslehoff is attractive, charismatic and all, but is he going to be enough of a draw to get enough geese into harness?
Is it going to increase their net emissions if they start breeding tons more geese to handle the load? What about the impact of all the food supply and waste?
